The Yamaha SR125 is one of the oldest 125 cruiser type motorcycles on the roads today. It first appeared in the UK way back in 1982, was withdrawn in 1986, then returned in 1991. It's an ideal CBT motorcycle, but beyond a training school car park the Yamaha SR125 feels slow and outdated in almost every way.

The term "SR" stands for "Single Road". The total length is 2020 mm.

A cylinder, four-stroke and softchopper optics of the early 1980s were the characteristics of SR 1995 presented 125. The 12-hp motorcycle, which was sold in this form abroad since the early 1980s was, technically largely identical with the Yamaha SR 250. It had an air-cooled single-cylinder four-stroke engine with an overhead camshaft (OHC) and a five-speed gearbox. The chopper has a light weight and a low seat height.

Electric starter, lockable fuel cap and center and side stands and a favorable cost price made the Yamaha SR 125 is the ideal city and a second car, which enjoyed especially at returners great popularity.
